11 News Today: Flood Watch in effect; Stocks plummet as interest rates to rise
TRAFFIC FOR ME? A:AV I THINK IT WOULD BE FUN TO SWITCH SPOTS SOMED.AY WE ARE LOOKING AT THAT FLOOD WATCH THAT WAS SHOWING. THIS IS THE RISK FOR TONIGHT, AREAS OF FLOODING ALONG STREAMS AND LOW LAYING ROADS. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL THROUGH TOMORROW MAY EXTEND THAT FLOOD WATCH INTO SATURDAY. RIGHT NOW THE RAIN IS EXPANDING OVER THE BALTIMORE AREA, ESPECIALLY FROM BALTIMORE TO THE NORTH. RAIN IS STARTING TO PICK UP TOWARDS CECIL COUNTY AS WELL. THIS WILL KEEP PICKING UP AS THE MORNING GOES ON. TEMPERATURES ARE CURRENTLY IN THE 50’S RIGHT NOW BUT WE WILL NOT CHANGE MUCH THROUGHOUT THE DAY. WE ARE EXPECTING TEMPERATURES TO HOLD AROUND 60 DEGREES AND THAT IS CHILLY WHEN YOU GET THE RAINFALL. THE RAIN REMAINS STEADY THROUGHOUT 10:00 AND EDDIE AT NOON. WE MAY GET A BREAK UP OF THE RAIN AT METIS IN THE EVENING BUT MORE RAIN WILL COME AT NIGHT. EXPECT WHEN -- WET ROADS THIS MORNING. BY 11:00, EVERYONE IN THE METRO GETTING DOWOUNP AND BILL HEAVY RAIN AT NOON AND 1:00. CERTAINLY THE KIDS WILL NEED

Meteorologist Ava Marie says periods of heavy rain today and tonight could lead to flooding on roads, near streams, and low-lying areas. Temps will top out in the high 50's as the rain will be around most of the day.
