This season in the NHL he appeared in 50 games for the Ottawa Senators, tallying four goals and eight assists.

Harris helped lead the Huskies to their first ever Hockey East Regular Season Championship this past season, finishing his Northeastern career with 130 career games played. The defenseman finished his Northeastern career with 15 goals and 58 assists for 73 points. After his senior season ended this past March in the NCAA Tournament, Harris signed with the Montreal Canadiens and appeared in 10 NHL games to end the season - he notched his first career NHL goal in Montreal's season finale against the Florida Panthers.
