The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for ongoing traffic
restrictions when the Anvil Rock Road Bridge construction project over Interstate 40
begins Monday, May 9. The bridge is located west of Seligman (milepost 109) in
Yavapai County. Motorists should expect the following travel restrictions through fall
2022: East- and westbound I-40 will be reduced to one lane in each direction under the
Anvil Rock Road Bridge throughout the duration of the construction project. An 18-foot
width restriction will also be in place. The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
