Almora had his contract selected from Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday.
The veteran outfielder will join the Reds as a depth piece with Nick Senzel (undisclosed) and Tyler Naquin (undisclosed) landing on the COVID-19 injured list. Almora missed the first couple weeks of the season with Louisville due to a shoulder injury and has an .852 OPS through 11 games.
