Can you spot the bird hiding in this photo? It shows you’re REALLY clever if you do it in under a minute
A PICTURE of a stunning view in the Highlands of Scotland has been turned into a tricky brainteaser.
Laurence Debailleul, from Belgium, was climbing Ben Wyvis in North Inverness when she snapped a photo of the beautiful mountainside.
She later realised she'd captured an unexpected photobomber who was camouflaged amongst the surroundings.
At first glance, it appears as if there's a series of rocks scattered across the hillside.
But at a closer look, a bird is seen at the bottom left of the image.
Viewers who can locate the bird in under a minute might have an advantage over their peers who cannot.
The picture first appeared online in 2016 but has resurfaced again among a new audience of optical illusion fans.
Laurence, 51, said: "I first heard the noise of the birds but struggled to spot them – then I saw four of them blending into the background.
"I took some pictures in the hope I might capture one of them.
"As I looked through my photos from the day I thought I'd missed them but just as I was about to hit delete I spotted it.
"I was so surprised to see how well the bird was camouflaged."
By blending perfectly with its background, it proves to be one of nature's masters of disguise.
In another tricky brainteaser, can you spot a stunning bird perfectly camouflaged on a pebble beach?
The photograph snapped by Raphael Golez has viewers squinting trying to spot the small bird and its long tail.
Perched on Winchelsea Beach, East Sussex, the bird - a Pied Wagtail - can barely be seen with its grey, white and black feathers acting as the perfect disguise to blend in with the tranquil scenery.
