Kate Middleton Switches Up Hairstyle & Rocks Green Dress During Latest Royal Outing

Kate Middleton opted against her signature hairstyle during her latest royal outing.

Today, the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, was seen leaving the Design Museum in London after she presented The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. For the event, Middleton switched up her hair by styling it in a straight ’do instead of curly.

Although she typically rocks beachy waves, Middleton sported a sleek all-down style, which she parted down the middle. Her front pieces were conveniently tucked behind her ears on both sides.

Middleton wore a green dress from designer Edeline Lee, which featured a high neckline, belted waist and bows on the sleeves. She accessorized the look with black pumps, gold earrings and her iconic blue engagement ring (which previously belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana).

The appearance came a few days after Middleton and her husband, Prince William, celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. In honor of the milestone, the hosts of the Royally Obsessed podcast took a walk down memory lane and revisited a memorable moment from their 2011 nuptials. It happened when William and Kate took to the Buckingham Palace balcony post-ceremony and double-kissed. At that exact moment, flower girl Grace van Cutsem was pictured with both hands clamped hard over her ears.

All we have to say is…straight hair, don’t care.
