Dale was an Army veteran who enjoyed hunting, camping, antiquing and watching classic westerns. His love for boxing and hard work as a young man won him a Golden Glove award. He was a graduate of Floydada High School class of 1959. He found his calling in sales when he came to work for Jim Click in the 1970s. He won many top sales awards throughout his successful career, which lasted most of his life.

Dale was the type of man who could make anyone laugh with his own contagious, heartfelt laughter. He enjoyed throwing out classic one-liners, and could carry on a conversation with anyone. Dale had a true love for life, his family and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Sienna Hope; his grandparents, who raised him, R. Fred Brown and Ruby Beasley Duncan Brown; his parents, Harold Brown and Geraldine Calloway; and his younger brother, Skipper Tex Brown.

He is survived by three daughters, Sirenna Palici (Emilio), Tiffany Weeks and Tara Owens (Lenny); two sisters, Rebel June Moore and Anita McCartney; and five grandchildren.
