The following is the latest retail and restaurant inspection report from the Lake Cumberland District Health Department. These inspections took place between mid-March and May 3rd.
Little Caesars: Food Service 97 percent, employee drinks in food prep area (corrected), and chemical test strips required to test concentration of sanitizer solution
Papa Johns: Food 93 percent, wall/tile in poor repair, no hand towels at handwash sinks, lights not shielded walk-in cooler, hair restraints not being used, dented cans of food product (corrected), and wiping cloths not stored in sanitize solution
Minit Mart: Food 100 percent, Retail 100 percent
The Food Wagon: Food 100 percent
Mammy Frog’s Diner: Food 100 percent
Adanta Adult Crisis: Food 100 percent
Russell Springs Elementary School: Food 100 percent
Jamestown Elementary School: Food 100 percent
Salem Elementary School: Food 100 percent
Russell County Middle School: Food 100 percent
Russell County High School: Food 100 percent
AV Food Mart #2: Food 97 percent, men’s and women’s restroom must be accessible to public at all hours of operation, reach in freezer lid in poor repair (food prep area), coffee stir sticks not wrapped, hand towels required at hand wash sink, Retail 100 percent
Dollar General Store at 1625 Hwy 910: Retail 97 percent, both male and female restrooms must be accessible to the public, and dented food cans in retail area (corrected)
An establishment may pass inspection by having a score between 85 and 100 but critical violations must be corrected within 10 days. Otherwise, violations are expected to be corrected by the next inspection.
