Michelle Yeoh loves Andrew Garfield for his Everything Everywhere-inspired hot dog fingers

"I love him! I love him!" Yeoh exclaimed at the Met Gala.

Andrew Garfield seems to have an eternal friend in Michelle Yeoh, and it's all because of hot dog fingers.

While Garfield was leaving The View studio in New York City last Thursday, paparazzi had captured images of the Tick, Tick... Boom! and Spider-Man actor sporting latex gloves as a nod to the film Everything Everywhere All at Once.

The Cut approached Yeoh, who stars in that movie as Evelyn, at the Met Gala and asked her about Garfield's sartorial shout-out to her work.

"Oh my God! I love him!" Yeoh exclaimed with the utmost joy. "Can you imagine? I had been watching his interviews that he's doing for Under the Banner of Heaven, and he's sitting there asking his costar, 'Have you seen Everything Everywhere?' And he goes, 'No.' 'Then you have to go see it.'

"He talks about our film and walks out with the hot dog fingers," she continues before blowing a kiss. "I love him. I love him."

In the film, Yeoh portrays a laundromat owner who must save the multiverse. In one alternate reality, everyone has long, rubbery hot dogs for fingers. A24, the studio behind the film, even sells hot dog finger gloves in its online store.

Speaking with EW, the actress remembered poking the brains of directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert about the craziness of the multiverse.

"I would ask them questions like, 'Hot dog fingers? I don't understand this universe,'" she said. "I would bombard them with questions that I think any ordinary person would ask. They were very clear, very solid in this multiverse that they wanted to present. After the first meeting, I thought: these guys, they are evil geniuses, and I would love to work with them."
