VERNON COUNTY Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Grant County man is charged in Vernon county court with reckless driving and speeding after a chase crossed county lines Saturday night. The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Brian Yahn of Boscobel was taken into custody just after 10 pm after fleeing deputies in both Crawford and Vernon counties.
The office says Yahn was pulled over on highway 61 in Crawford County and drove off. Once the chase entered Vernon County, deputies pursued him for a while before finding him in the town of Kickapoo later.
Deputies say at one point he was speeding more than 45 miles per hour over the 55 miles per hour limit. So far charges are only filed in Vernon County.
