The Seattle Kraken's first season is officially over.
But the dream is just beginning.
The Kraken certainly fell well short of the playoffs but gave enough gusto at the end to have fans excited for what might be in the future ahead.
One major reason why was the play of goalie Philipp Grubauer.
Grubauer proved to be a rock for his team and weathered the storm of constantly changing personnel and tough stretches of games.
Still, no matter the obstacles, the Kraken never packed it in and fought to the finish---that gave fans an incredible sendoff for the home finale on Friday night.
