FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) — Google confirmed its Chrome browser has multiple new vulnerabilities that could impact your browser.
Google is advising Chrome users to update their browsers as soon as possible.
Updating Chrome is fast and easy.
To force Chrome to update manually, follow these simple steps:
- Click the three dots in the top right corner of Chrome
- Click Settings <>> Help <>> About Google Chrome.
- Wait for Chrome to find and install the update.
- When prompted, restart Chrome (Restart required)
After restarting your browser, you will have the latest version of Chrome, at least 101.0.4951.41 or higher.
iPhone or iPad:
If you have apps updated automatically, you should already have the latest update. If you don't, just go to the App Store and click on the profile image in the top right.
Scroll down to available updates and find Chrome. Tap UPDATE.
Android:
Open the Google Play Store on your Android and click on the profile logo in the top right.
Clip Manage Apps & Devices and find Updates Available.
Find Chrome and click Update.
