Jokingly it's known as the pothole bill, and includes repaving major streets, tree trimming and upgrades to the City Justice Center. Mayor Jones says "the St. Louis infrastructure bill will help us maintain and clean our vacant lots, and add more lighting for our communities and more." Jones calls the rec centers "our true anchors of our communities. This is on top of the more than $80-million in American Rescue Plan funds the City has already programmed."

KMOX News asked Mayor Jones about public feedback on how the next round of ARPA funds may be Used. Jones says there's interest in another direct payment program and or guaranteed income for several hundred families.

There have already been more than 4,000 responses to the City's online survey.
