Krizan was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Krizan drew three consecutive starts after his contract was selected by the Giants on Friday, but he went just 1-for-8. The 32-year-old will head back to the minors since San Francisco needs to trim its active roster to 26 players by Monday.
