Buffy the Vampire Slayer may have come to an end almost 20 years ago, but it has remained a cultural icon for more than one generation of fans.
The supernatural drama also launched lead actress Sarah Michelle Gellar to stardom, as she brought vampire slayer Buffy Summers to life for seven seasons between 1997 and 2003.
But the actress has proved that she's still partial to a bit of fangirling herself, as she had a very down-to-earth reaction to discovering that Oscar-winning singer Billie Eilish had named her as her childhood crush.

'No Time To Die' singer Billie took part in a Q&A session on her Instagram Stories earlier this week and one of the questions posed to her was "Who's your childhood celebrity crush?"
Billie made her feelings very clear, simply sharing a photo of Sarah in character as Buffy, clutching a stake.
And it seems that the actress was incredibly excited to hear the news, as she later shared a snapshot of the Story in question and wrote: "I'm dead. That's all. I'm not a child anymore, but I totally have a crush on @billieeilish Ok... now that's really all."
Sarah's Buffy co-star Charisma Carpenter, who played Cordelia Chase during the first three seasons of Buffy, shared her approval of the situation, commenting: "Valid! And, a wee bit jellie."
A number of the actress' followers were also quick to point out that she had probably been a childhood crush for a generation of viewers...
Sarah recently claimed that she was sometimes 'pitted' against her long-time Buffy co-star Alyson Hannigan, who played Willow Rosenberg, saying that the stars "had moments" on set.
"I think that unfortunately, the set we were on and the world we were in was pitting us against each other," she said. "I think it would have been different if it was today. It would have been a very different relationship. But we have a great relationship now."
