Rowney was unable to return from his lower-body injury before the season came to a close. He finished with four goals, two assists and a minus-4 rating through 26 games.
The depth pivot dealt with a nagging injury for much of the season, and now Rowney's set to become an unrestricted free agent ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
