DES MOINES, Iowa – The North Dakota State men's track & field team continued competition at the Drake Relays and the Kip Janvrin Open on Friday.

Jacob Rodin posted an outdoor personal-best in the 800m for the second straight week, running 1:49.06 for third place at Drake.

Cody Roder set a new 400m career-best, running 47.48 to tie for eighth-fastest in NDSU outdoor history.

Senior
Trevor Otterdahl finished 10th in the shot put.
Brandon Lewis took 12th place in the long jump with a mark of 23-05.50 (7.15m).

The Bison men took ninth in the 4x200m relay with the team of
Alex Brosseau,
Logan Mathieu,
Robert Douglas and
Henry Collins.

On Thursday night at the Drake Relays,
Josh Samyn clocked the second-fastest 1500m of his career, finishing in 3:47.87. He ranks third-fastest in NDSU history.

At the Kip Janvrin Open in Indianola, Iowa,
Josh Knutson ran a personal-best 52.62 to win the 400m hurdles and rank ninth-fastest in NDSU history. Redshirt freshman
Drake Daniels ran a personal-best 54.71 to place sixth.

Symon Keiser clocked a 1500m personal-best of 3:51.07 for second place. Freshmen
Brock Johnsen (personal-best 14.72) and Mathieu (14.75) finished third and fourth in the 110m hurdles.

Elijah Hylen cleared 6-06.00 (1.98m) in the high jump for second place.

The Bison will conclude competition at the Drake Relays on Saturday.
