Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay likes to chat, so he invited some folks into his office Saturday afternoon to discuss the NFL Draft and the quarterback position.

Matt Ryan isn't viewed as a one-year wonder

The Colts' primary QBs in recent years have been: Jacoby Brissett (2017), Andrew Luck ('18), Brissett ('19), Philip Rivers ('20) and Carson Wentz ('21).

This from Irsay in late March about Wentz: “I think the worst thing you can do is have a mistake and try to keep living with it going forward. For us, it was something we had to move away from as a franchise. It was very obvious.”

Jim Irsay really likes what general manager Chris Ballard did on Friday

The Colts selected a wide receiver (Alec Pierce), tight end (Jelani Woods), tackle (Bernhard Raimann) and safety (Nick Cross), all considered areas of need.
