We’ve got exciting news to share with fans of That 70s Show! Netflix’s highly-anticipated spin-off series That 90s Show will now feature several special guest appearances from legacy cast members like Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.

It was already revealed that Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp would return to reprise their roles as Red and Kitty Forman, respectively. Smith and Rupp will also serve as executive producers on the spin-off series.

That 70s Show cast members returning for That 90s Show

That 90s Show is an upcoming multi-cam show. Season 1 will consist of 10 episodes.

Gregg Mettler serves as executive producer, creator and showrunner. Bonnie Turner, Terry Turner and Lindsey Turner are credited as co-writers, co-executive producers and co-creators on the series. Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner will also executive produce under The Carsey-Werner Company.

Here’s the official list of returning cast members:

  • Topher Grace as Eric Forman
  • Mila Kunis as Jackie Burkhart
  • Ashton Kutcher as Michael Kelso
  • Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti
  • Wilmer Valderrama as Fez

Nearly all of the series regulars from That 70s Show are now slated to return for the spin-off, which I’m sure is very exciting to fans.

Apart from the returning special guests, That 90s Show will also star Ashley Aufderheide, Callie Haverda, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi and Sam Morelos.

The official logline:

"Hello, Wisconsin! It’s 1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer, where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red. Sex, drugs and rock ’n roll never dies, it just changes clothes."

We still do not have a release date for the series, but it seems likely it will come out later this year. Unfortunately, the parent show is not currently available to stream on Netflix.

The series was available in the past, however, and it’s possible Netflix might be able to get it back so fans can revisit the original sitcom before the spin-off debuts. To my knowledge, That 70s Show isn’t streaming on any platform, which seems odd given its popularity. It might be Danny Masterson’s involvement that is making streamers hesitant to pick it up. But perhaps we’ll get new updates when the spin-off gets a release date. Stay tuned to Netflix Life!
