For Jojo release updates, cast, synopsis, and more

We’ve skimmed over Netflix’s summer 2022 movie slate, and we’ve got to say, the summer lineup looks very promising. A comedy film titled For Jojo is on the list, and once we tell you the plot, you’re going to want to see the movie immediately.

For Jojo is a German original movie directed by Barbara Ott from a script written by Stefanie Ren. Alexander Funk and Kai Kunnemann signed on as producers of the film. Ott is known for directing the movies Kids Run, Sunny and Beelzebub. She also directed some episodes of the television series Druck.

Not much is known about For Jojo, but we made sure to share everything we know so far!

For Jojo release updates

When Netflix released its summer 2022 movie slate, most movies a part of the list were given release dates. Unfortunately, the streamer did not announce the official release date for the comedy film. All that was given is that the movie will be coming to the streamer sometime this summer. This means we could see the film somewhere between June and September. Hopefully, we get to see the movie sometime in June or July. You can count on us to share the official release date once it’s announced.

For Jojo cast

Netflix has not revealed the full cast list, but we know who will be playing the main characters. Caro Cult leads the cast as the protagonist, Paula. Nina Gummich portrays Jojo, Paula’s best friend, and Steven Sowah plays Daniel.

For Jojo synopsis

It’s about two best friends (Paula and Jojo) who enjoy living the single life in Berlin, Germany, until Jojo falls deeply in love with a man from their hometown. Paula isn’t happy about Jojo’s new relationship status, so she does everything she can to sabotage her friend’s wedding.
