Nathan Lawson pitched a no-hitter and the Lakers scored 13 runs in five innings as Russell County defeated Cumberland County 13-0 in Burkesville Thursday night.
Lawson struck out 14 of 18 batters he faced, as the Lakers avenged an earlier loss to the Panthers just over a week ago.
Camden Carpenter, Bryce Cowell, and Issac Roy each drove in a pair of runs for the Lakers and Aidan Antle finished with a team-high 3 hits.
The Lakers improved to 17-4 on the season and 4-1 in district play.
