Salo was promoted from AHL Bridgeport for Thursday's clash with Washington.
Salo logged 12:40 of ice time in Tuesday's win over the Capitals. It was his first NHL appearance since Jan. 30. The 23-year-old rookie has four points through 19 career NHL games.
