Laura Wright and Wes Ramsey Celebrate Their Fifth Anniversary

Please help us wish daytime’s cutest couple a very happy anniversary! GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Laura Wright (Carly) and Wes Ramsey (ex-Peter) are both happily celebrating the five-year anniversary of their first date on April 28, 2017! “Five years ago, you took my breath away,” Wright declared with an Instagram post full of super cute pics with her beau. “I love our life, Wes Ramsey. XOXOXOXO.” And for good measure, she added a hashtag declaring it the “best first date ever” and another giving a shout out to their furbaby, Kimba.

A little later in the day, Ramsey himself shared a lovely anniversary post of his own, referencing the fact that while the couple began dating back in 2017 after a fateful meeting at a Daytime Emmys party, they first met when they worked together on the CBS sudser GUIDING LIGHT many years ago where she played Cassie and he played Sam.

“I reminded her it was a show with a lighthouse where we first crossed paths all those years ago in magical NYC,” Ramsey wrote. “So I impulsively pulled the car over (on our trip last week to beautiful St. Augustine, Florida) just so we could grab a quick picture.

“What I love is that the look on my face reminds me of the happiest pictures of my childhood when I first learned how beautifully innocent and pure life could be,” he continued. “That’s how I think about these last five years since we crossed paths again… and have never left each other’s side. Thank you for letting me take you out on the town and for creating this life with me.”

Ramsey also included some hashtags of his own like “#gratefulman,” “#bestfriends,” “#myguidinglight,” and “#stillspinninginlaurasworld” as well as also reiterating “#bestfirstdate!”
