Ana Navarro is not ready to forgive and forget former members of the Trump administration. During Thursday’s episode of The View, Navarro called out Dr. Deborah Birx, who served as Donald Trump‘s Coronavirus Response Coordinator and is releasing her own book about working in the Trump White House.

During a Hot Topics segment about Birx’s Wednesday New Day interview on CNN — in which she was challenged by anchor Brianna Keilar about her role in the White House, including her failure to speak out against Trump’s dangerous advice — Navarro slammed the doctor and other members of the Trump White House for coming out against him when it was too late.

“I’m incredibly glad that somebody like Brianna Keilar held her feet to the fire,” Navarro said of Birx. “Because I am so sick of Trump administration official after official after official after official trying to rewrite history, rehabilitate their image, go on an entire reinvent myself tour, apology tour, and them getting a pass.”

She continued, “The bottom line is, they were complicit with the ineptitude and abuses of power of that administration, and they should be held accountable.”

Navarro also dissed Birx’s new book, Silent Invasion, telling the audience, “I don’t know how she’s going to make money because I sure as hell ain’t gonna buy it.”

Birx held her position as Coronavirus Response Coordinator in 2020, and stepped down from the role in December of that year after coming under fire for taking her family on a trip to Delaware against CDC guidelines. At the time, she told Newsy, “This experience has been a bit overwhelming.”

Navarro didn’t forget Birx’s ill-fated holiday travel, telling the audience that Birx “lost her job and her credibility” when she traveled to her vacation home with three generations of her family. “Not only was she sucking up to Trump to try stay to stay her job because she liked the proximity to power, she was also being hypocritical and not following the guidelines that her own department was putting out,” Navarro said.

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
