We can’t bear the thought of you being bored this weekend. So we’ve cobbled together an events guide highlighting some of the fun things to do over the next few days in and around Los Angeles. Have fun!

THURSDAY, APRIL 28

• Downey's location of Dunkin’ welcomes the public today to an unveiling of this new mural made in partnership with the Dodgers. Guests coming in from 8-10am today get a free blue & white sprinkle donut with any drink purchase and can enter into a week-long sweepstakes to win game tickets, raffle prizes, Dunkin’ & Dodgers SWAG, gift cards, and an autographed ball from Cody Bellinger. • Every Thursday, O.C.'s Blinking Owl Distillery is featuring a new taco during its dedicated new "Taco Thursday" night, along with spiked aguas frescas at its Santa Ana space. Tonight you'll find wild tiger prawn-and-lamb merguez chorizo with charcoal grilled Satina potatoes, borage flowers, and bourbon fry sauce on housemade tortillas using masa from local legend El Metate, along with a vodka, lemon, and chia seed agua fresca. 5-10 p.m., 802 E. FRIDAY, APRIL 29

• Mexico City's famous bar Licorería Limantour, named #6 on the list of the World's Best 50 Bars, will pop-up at Downtown's La Barra at LA Cha Cha Chá on Friday and Saturday nights with bar manage  Eduardo Nava Mendoza creating a menu of specialty cocktails with seasonal produce and Limantour classics like the green chile-laced Margarita Al Pastor. SATURDAY, APRIL 30

• The 10th Latino Comics Expo at MOLAA in Long Beach will include about 45 vendors, panels, and a family-friendly chalk art workshop. Guests will include "Book of Life" and "Maya & The Three" director Jorge Gutierrez, Jesse Hernandez of Urban Aztec, and Xaime & Gilbert Hernandez of Love & Rockets fame. • If your tastes in hip-hop run a little newer, there's also The Smoker's Club, a huge, considerably more expensive festival involving Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, Flatbush Zombies, Lupe Fiasco, Whiz Khalifa, Earl Sweatshirt, Alchemist, and a whole bunch of other artists at San Bernardino's Glen Helen Amphitheater. • A silent auction will be held as part of Bergamot Station Art Center’s "Spring Fling" event in Santa Monica, with funds raised going to the non-profit, NOVA Ukraine. The 20 gallery-strong complex will also include artist talks, opening receptions, artist meet and greets, book and object sales, workshops, and curator walkthroughs. • People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) is holding its very first food event fundraiser, Taste of Home, at Sunset Las Palmas Studios in Hollywood this Saturday, with unlimited tastings from popular food and drink vendors from around the city. 4-7 p.m., $35-$150 tickets here

• Funky Sole, L.A.'s "longest running 60's to now vinyl funk" party is moving locations this Saturday, and will now be found at El Cid in Silver Lake, with DJs Music Man Miles and Hector Waluyo, and visuals by Society of Shadows. $5 before 10:30p.m., $10 after, 4212 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90029

SUNDAY, May 1

• L.A. Times Family car club is considering a Cinco de Mayo celebration this Sunday, with the location still to be announced.

• Hero's Dream Adventure, an "immersive, multimedia adventure" based around dreaming and lucid dreaming, is going down at Downtown's super trippy Wisdome Theatre, with awarded dream analysts and dream therapy experts. • Netflix is throwing a big old comedy festival throughout L.A. this weekend, featuring over 250 different acts from Billy Eichner to Wamda Sykes to Neal Brenner to the ubiquitous Snoop Dogg. Something for everyone.
