Tomorrow, April 28th, Arlo McKinley, Tyler Childers, and Jeremy Pinnell are banding together for a spring concert stream benefitting Healing Appalachia, an organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness to combat opioid addiction across the region.

I invite you to tune in at 8pm ET to see performances from the artists, along with voices from the Hope In The Hills Board and those on the frontlines of recovery. The concert will take place live on Mandolin, and is free to the public with a suggested donation.

Arlo McKinley has long used his music to highlight "existential crises, addictions, and world-weary resilience" (The FADER). His new album This Mess We're In is out July 15th on John Prine's Oh Boy Records, and he says:

"I'm private with a lot of things I go through, but in my songs, I'm honest about everything...I hope listeners can identify with the things they're too ashamed to talk about or feel. There's such a stigma that goes along with things like addiction and mental health. I just want them to know that I go through all of that too."

Let me know if you're interested in learning more – following tomorrow's livestream, Arlo and his band kick off a spring tour that will bring them to NYC's Mercury Lounge on May 9th and 14th, plus dozens of other stops you can find here: https://www.arlomckinley.com/#tour
