Billy passed away April 13. He was born in North Carolina and moved to Burns in 1964 after serving in th

e Air Force and stationed at base in Condon.

On arriving in Burns, he worked for the Edward Hines Lumber Company until its’ closure. After a couple of other jobs, he worked at Big R until his retirement.

He called Harney County God’s Country. He loved hunting, fishing and snowmobiling with his buddies. 

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He is survived by three brothers and a sister.

He will be laid to rest at the Willamette Veterans Cemetery in Portland.
