I gave my twins the same first name, people think it’s weird but I wanted to call them both after their dad

A MUM has been mercilessly mocked online after she gave both of her newborn twins the same first name.

Sharing a video of her twin boys on her TikTok account, the mum revealed that she had called them both Branden.

One of her sons is called Branden Junior while the other is Branden III after their father.

A clip from the video has since been shared on Reddit where it has left fellow parents baffled, with many agreeing the mum is in for ‘a lifetime of confusion.’

Commenting on the post, one wrote: “This should be illegal.”

“I read this 16 times to see if I missed the different spellings,” added another, while a third joked, “What in the George Foreman is happening?”

Others were convinced that the mum must be joking.

"This has got to be a joke. Please tell me it's these kids' middle names or something," one commented.

Another added: "I hope these are cousins and not brothers."

Meanwhile others were quick to point out the impracticalities that the brothers will face in the future.

“They’re going to be mistaken every time on credit scores,” one commented.

“And background checks. Trust me....” added another.
