Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are reportedly on "friendly terms" following their shocking split.
The lovebirds quietly called it quits last October after the former One Direction member got into a physical and verbal altercation with the model's mother, Yolanda Hadid. Though the famous duo called things off romantically, they have since been working towards maintaining a healthy coparenting relationship.
An insider spilled to Life and Style the exes still “speak a few times a week” despite their breakup, adding that Gigi will “always have a place in her heart for him.”
Although the source noted they are still "friendly" with each other, they also seemed to shoot down rumors of a future romantic reconciliation, explaining “their conversations are usually about Khai.”
Gigi and Zayn previously dated on and off starting in 2015 and welcomed their 1-year-old daughter, Khai, in September 2020.
This comes after OK! reported the "PILLOWTALK" singer has been "begging" Gigi to take him back, but the 27-year-old mom-of-one isn't having it.
“Zayn’s always been jealous and controlling, and no one expects that to change,” the source dished. “Gigi promised everyone she’s not going to give in and get back together, and so far, she’s sticking to her word. She wants the best for Zayn, but it seems like she’s done with his drama.”

The former couple broke up after The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum claimed her daughter's baby daddy "struck her" last September.
According to court documents, Yolanda and Zayn got into a heated argument after she came by to visit the baby without calling first, with the "Dusk Til Dawn" artist allegedly calling her a "f***ing Dutch sl*t." He also reportedly told her to "stay away from [my] f***ing daughter" before allegedly "grabbing" her and "shoving" her into a piece of furniture.
Zayn was later charged with four criminal offenses in connection with the altercation but chose to plead "no contest."
