Rick Steiner made an appearance on NXT last night as part of the final build to Bron Breakker vs. Joe Gacy at Spring Breakin'.

Gacy claimed that -- after last week's show-closing angle where he pushed Breakker off a platform and Breakker was surrounded by druids -- Breakker wasn't cleared to compete in their NXT Championship match next Tuesday. But Steiner made his way out and informed Gacy that Breakker is cleared and will defend his title at Spring Breakin'.

Gacy's druids then got on the ring apron and surrounded Steiner. Breakker ran out to make the save for his father. Breakker took out most of the druids, but Gacy dropped Breakker with a lariat. As two druids held Steiner back, the other druids passed Breakker's title belt to Gacy. Gacy held the NXT Championship belt in the air as the show ended.
