JOHNSON COUNTY, Ga. -- The GBI’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit, along with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a Wrightsville man's home on Tuesday, following a tip from the National Center for Missing And Exploited Children. The tip suggested that evidence of possession and/or distribution of explicit materials involving children could be found in the home. As a result of the search, 30 year old Jake Robert Scott was charged with two felony counts of possession of child pornography.

The investigation is part of an ongoing effort by the GBI's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, to identify those involved in child pornography. The ICAC Program was created in response to the increasing number of children and teenagers using the internet, a rise in material involving child exploitation, and increased activity by online predators.
