Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton has announced that she and her husband Richie Myler have separated.
Helen shared the news on her Instagram Stories by posting a short statement on a black background, which reads: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children."
She also added two broken heart emojis to her statement.

Helen and Richie, who is a professional rugby player, have been married for just over eight years, having tied the knot in December 2013.
They share three children together: six-year-old Ernie, five-year-old Louis and baby Elsie, who was born in December.
Following Elsie's birth, Helen shared a photo on Instagram of Richie carrying the newborn, thanking him "for being my team mate".
Neither Helen nor Richie has shared any further details about their break-up.

Helen is known for her stint as a Blue Peter presenter between 2008 and 2013 and has presented Countryfile since 2014. Over her career, Helen has also presented sporting coverage, including presenting swimming coverage for the BBC during the 2016 Summer Olympics.
The presenter later laughed off claims that she'd been "axed" from the BBC's coverage of the Commonwealth Games in 2018 following viewer criticism over her choice of 'risqué' outfits during the Rio Olympics.
"Good job we don't take life too seriously Sonja," she replied to fellow BBC presenter Sonja McLaughlan in response to the reports at the time.
Alongside Countryfile and Blue Peter, Helen has also presented The Instant Gardener and Holiday Hit Squad, and she also took part in the Strictly Come Dancing 2012 Christmas special.
