The Boston Celtics confirmed they are arguably the strongest team in the young 2022 NBA playoffs. After a regular season that started with them looking lost, unable to develop chemistry and like a team that would split up their star duo, they have turned things around in the past couple of months, demonstrating they are a dangerous squad for the rest of the league.

They faced a difficult Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the postseason, pulling out the brooms and sweeping the dangerous Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving to advance to the second round, where the Milwaukee Bucks or Chicago Bulls will wait for them.

After the series was finished, a lot of people had something to say about the Nets and their disappointing season. The Boston Celtics fans had a blast watching their team dismantling the Nets, including Paul Pierce, one of the most recent idols in Celtics history.

Even though he played for both squads, Pierce never developed the same love for the Nets that he had for the Celtics. After the C's completed the sweep on Monday night, he took to Twitter to troll the Brooklynites, showing his happiness with the result of the highly-anticipated series.

"Can I get a half of that Nets ," The Truth tweeted.

He wasn't the only one who took jabs at the Nets, as Kyle Kuzma also had fun watching the Celtics dominate the Nets. He criticized the team's poor defense and overall performance on social media.

The Nets entered this season as huge favorites to win the NBA championship, but things took a huge turn for the worse, leaving them helpless against a well-rounded and coached team like the Celtics. Everybody laughed at the Nets' expense and it's time for them to take things personally and seek revenge next season.
