Johnny Depp Tries To Control His Laughter After Amber Heard’s Lawyer Objects His Own Question

Johnny Depp Trial

We’re living in bizarre times, and this Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial is just further proof of that.

Depp is suing his ex-wife for $50 million in a defamation suit, and although I’ve been trying my best to stay away from this clown show, it’s practically unavoidable…

Considering the fact that Depp recalled a time where Heard took a sh*t on his side of the their bed, and past texts resurfaced of Depp telling a friend “I will f*ck her burnt corpse afterwards,” it’s almost too good to pass up.

Of course, it’s no secret that the famed actor is a rather strange guy, and Heard sounds like she could use a straight jacket, but sheesh, some of these details are hard to process.

And aside from the circus that is Depp and Heard, her lawyer seems like a bozo too.

In the latest episode of the trial, we see Heard’s lawyer, Ben Rottenborn, fuck up royally during a line of questioning to Depp’s manager.

When Depp’s house manager, Ben King, took the stand for his testimony, he discussed the time where Depp’s finger had been severed by Heard, which resulted in Ben Rottenborn citing a “hearsay objection.”

The only issue is…

Rottenborn was the one who was asking the questions, and you can’t object your own question.

In video footage, you can see Depp and his lawyer start to laugh at the misstep.

The judge said:

“Wait, you asked the question.”

I mean, c’mon.

Although my only knowledge of the rules of law come from My Cousin Vinny, this should be basic common sense.

If Rottenborn keeps this up, he might as well just hand Depp $50 million himself, because the guy is laying a serious egg in this case.
