This Saturday, April 30th, the Simms Volunteer Fire Department will hold their Annual Pancake Supper. The supper gets underway at 5:00 p.m. at the Lions Community Hall in Simms.

Entrance to the supper is by free will donation.

Since the last supper, the fire crew in Simms has added some new tools to help fight fires and respond to other tragedies. Last week, three of the firemen posed with a new (to them) structure truck that came  out of Alaska, where it was used at Elmendorf Air Force Base. Also acquired from the base was an extraction truck, that when deployed will have jaws of life and other tools required at an accident scene.

Last year, the department set a record by pulling in about $13,000 during the 2021 pancake supper.

Be sure to get your raffle tickets, as this year the big prize is a North 40 gift card worth $500.

There will also be a live auction and, weather permitting, a Bouncy House for the kids.

For additional information, or to arrange to donate items for the auction, contact Tony or Barb Frye at 406.264.5164 or Rich McAdams at 406.799.8556
