Manchester United will see a team of former players take on their Liverpool counterparts in the Legends of the North charity match.

A video has emerged of former United left-back Patrice Evra preparing for the charity event, which will be a great opportunity to see the players of yesterday in the flesh.

The Frenchman will be joined on the pitch by Jaap Stam, Wes Brown, Louis Saha, Ronny Johnsen, Jesper Blomqvist, Diego Forlan, John O’Shea, Mikael Silvestre and other ex-players.

Evra can be seen below flicking the ball over his head before smashing the ball into the top corner.

Not bad for a retired left-back!

You could raise an argument that he’d still start ahead at left-back — ahead of Alex Telles.
