DECATUR, Ill. --The Carroll Pioneers were not able to record a run against Millikin pitcher senior Armstrong on Saturday and were shut out 8-0 by the No. 22 Big Blue.
Junior Breanna Roberts (4-3) started and took the loss in the circle for Carroll (14-9, 6-3).
At the plate, the Pioneers were led by sophomore Madison Palasz, who went 1-for-2 on the day with a double.
