The Atlanta Hawks grabbed a huge win on Friday night to cut the Miami Heat's series deficit to 2-1 as Trae Young came up big for his squad. The star guard had 24 points in the contest and actually struggled to get going, but that's until his clutch gene kicked into full gear.

Young drained a game-winning floater with just seconds left on the clock. In the process, the Hawks guard entered impressive territory only previously seen by LeBron James.

Not a surprise, to be honest. Ice Trae can always be relied on to drain a big shot when the Hawks need him most. Atlanta came back from a 16-point deficit in the second half to ultimately secure a crucial W.

This was a much better performance from Young, who only had three turnovers on the night. The Heat have done a tremendous job of containing him, but Trae couldn't be stopped this time with his team's season hanging in the balance. Aside from the floater to win it, the Hawks stud also converted a deep logo triple late in the final period which proved to be vital. Needless to say, Atlanta will need him to be at his absolute best again in Game 4 on Sunday as they look to even up the series at two.
