Trae Young may be struggling to shoot the ball in their playoff series against the Miami Heat, but the Atlanta Hawks star has certainly proven in Game 3 that he can step up when it matters most.

After a third-quarter collapse that saw the Heat erase a seven-point halftime deficit and take an eight-point lead, the Hawks appeared to be on their way to another ugly defeat. However, Ice Trae had other plans and made sure the series wouldn't end any time soon.

Every NBA fan has probably seen Young's game-winning floater to shock the Heat, but that was just the icing on the cake of a brilliant clutch time heroics from the Hawks guard. Ice Trae actually scored 10 points in the final three minutes of the game, outscoring the whole Miami team that made just nine, per Stat Muse.

Trae Young went 6-of-14 from the field (including 2-of-6 from deep) in the game, so it's by no means his best performance of the postseason. Nonetheless, he did show that he and the Hawks can win even in ugly games.

Of course Atlanta cannot expect the Heat to always collapse like that, and the fact that they were outscored 31-16 in the third quarter is a cause for concern. But still, they'll be heading to Game 4 with more confidence after their latest win.
