Bally’s Sports’ Steve Goldstein is not the only one feeling The Panthers, the fans are into it and he says, “It has been wild really since last season when they started letting people in after the Covid lockdown.”
The scoring is a big reason why the fans are so excited. Goldstein states, “Literally every 10 to 15 minutes they score a goal.”
To put this special season in perspective, Goldstein says, “If The Panthers win at home this weekend they will have the third best home record ever in The NHL.”
The Panthers could finish with 60 wins on the season. Goldstein makes a great comparison saying, “It would be like The Dolphins going 15-2 or 16-1.”
The question is now, will Florida rest players or try to league the lead in overall points? Goldstein replies, “I do not think we will be seeing guys play 25 minutes to try to capture The President’s Cup.”
Both Sergei Bobrovsky and Spencer Knight are having great seasons, so who will be in The Panthers Playoff Goal? Goldstein says, It is going to be Bobrovsky in Game 1, no doubt.”
The Panthers continue their magical ride to the playoffs Saturday at 7 p.m. against Toronto.
