In the preview, the first notes of the 35-year-old actors' 2004 song 'Rumors' is heard playing, before she says: 'Hello, world. It's me, Lindsay Lohan, and I'm here to tell you about my brand-new podcast, The Lohdown.'

She added: 'I want The Lohdown to be a place where you can get to know me — the 100% authentic me.

'Having starred in dozens of movies and TV shows, I'm usually the one being interviewed. But now it's my turn to ask all the questions, to dig deep and hear all about the fascinating and wonderful things that my guests are doing in their lives.'

Explaining that her podcast will be all-encompassing, she went on the say: 'The successes, the failures, the hard work and the moments in life that make you smile, I want The Lohdown on it all.'

Lohan said she'll be speaking to actors, musicians, entrepreneurs, producers and YouTube personalities, to name but a few.

'I'm not here to ask surface-level questions; I'm here for the stories that hold meaning,' she continued.

Having shared her excitement for the podcast series, she urged fans to subscribe and clarified that they can watch it via YouTube.

The official introduction for the podcast reads: 'Each day we live is full of promise and endless possibilities.

'Life shouldn't be spent worrying about the things trying to drag us down.

'Lindsay Lohan is here to bring you the ultimate guide to living fully on The Lohdown.

'She's here to share with you the things, people, places and ideas that she loves.'

It refers to the podcast being 'like the big sister that you never had, or if you just need an extra sister who's ready to lend and ear to hear about your joys and your dilemmas'.

The Lohdown with Lindsay Lohan is a collaboration with Studio 71, which will span the world of entertainment right through to beauty and make-up tricks.

When previously announcing her podcast in October 2021, Lohan wrote: 'I'm looking forward to connecting more with my fans and having intimate conversations with thought leaders and friends across all industries.'

In February, she starred in a Super Bowl advert, which saw her poke fun at her chequered past.

The 30-second video for Planet Fitness began with a voiceover of people who could be heard saying: 'What's gotten into Lindsay?'

'She's never been sharp,' said another voiceover.

That's before it alluded to how she overcame her prior obstacles.

In her twenties, the Mean Girls star was treated for her struggles with drugs and alcohol, faced 20 court appearances and was jailed for two weeks, after initially being sentenced for six months, as well as 67 days of community service, per CNN.

That was before she received positive probation reports and encouraging words from Judge Sautner, who said: 'I know it's hard when people are following you all over the place, but that's the life you chose.'

She told the actor to 'live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work'.

Lohan, who herself became engaged to Bader Shammas last November, is also set to star in a new romantic Netflix comedy, holiday rom-com Falling for Christmas,

Last may, the streaming platform tweeted: 'Lindsay Lohan will star in a new romantic comedy about a newly engaged and spoiled hotel heiress who finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter after getting total amnesia in a skiing accident.'
