Bayern Munich can clinch their tenth successive Bundesliga title on Saturday. But Marco Rose is determined to prevent that from happening.

Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich will renew their rivalry this weekend in the latest edition of Der Klassiker. These two teams have produced some thrilling matches over the years, and we should be in for another cracking contest this weekend.

Bayern Munich can also secure the Bundesliga title this weekend. The Bavarians currently hold a nine point lead over second placed Borussia Dortmund, with only four games left in the season. And a win on Saturday would be enough to help them clinch the Meisterschale for the tenth straight season.

But Marco Rose is determined to prevent Bayern Munich from clinching the Bundesliga title this weekend. During his pre-match press conference, the Borussia Dortmund head coach said that they will need to be at their best for 90 minutes if they want to have any chance of getting a result in Munich.

"“Bayern can become champions on Saturday and will perform accordingly. We want to prevent that from happening. In order to do that, we need a top performance, that’s clear. We played a very good game last Saturday and showed a lot of the things we want to see on the pitch.”“We’ll need more of that on the pitch for 90 minutes in Munich, to defend their offensive power and be dangerous ourselves.”"

Borussia Dortmund do not have the best of recent records against the Bavarians. The Black and Yellows have lost each of the last seven games between the two sides. And they haven’t won at the Allianz Arena since 2017. So Dortmund will be desperate to end that run this weekend.

Borussia Dortmund’s task will be made even more difficult by the fact that they will have to make do without several key players on Saturday, including Gregor Kobel, Mats Hummels, Axel Witsel, Mahmoud Dahoud, Thomas Meunier and Gio Reyna.
