(670 The Score) White Sox infielder Josh Harrison has an entry that may be the early front-runner for the defensive play of the year in MLB.

While playing third base in the bottom of the fifth inning of the White Sox-Guardians game Wednesday evening, Harrison turned around on a fly ball and sprinted at full speed into left field, where he made an incredible over-the-shoulder catch to retire Cleveland star Jose Ramirez. Harrison made the acrobatic grab while somehow avoiding a serious collision with left fielder Andrew Vaughn, though the two brushed each other and Harrison landed hard. Take a look below.

Harrison later exited the game early due to shoulder soreness. He was being further evaluated. The White Sox lost 11-1 in the opener of a doubleheader Wednesday and trailed 2-1 at the time of Harrison’s catch.
