Aaron Paul and wife Lauren Parsekian welcome baby No. 2
Aaron Paul is now a father of two!
The “Breaking Bad” star and his wife, Lauren Parsekian, recently welcomed their second child , a baby boy, and shared the first few pics of their newborn via Instagram on Wednesday.
“My little man. Ryden Caspian Paul. So happy you are out in this world you beautiful boy you,” Paul, 42, gushed in his caption .
“I promise to make you proud little guy. We have been absorbing this baby boy for the last month and feel it’s time to finally share the news of his arrival. We love you endlessly.”
Parsekian, 35, expressed similar sentiments, writing, “Ryden Caspian Paul 💙 We’ve spent the last month getting acquainted with this little guy and we couldn’t be more in love.”
She continued, “Born on a full moon, he has such a gentle and knowing spirit. I’m so deeply thankful that he chose us to be a part of his journey. Name inspired by our favorite artist, @markryden.”
An “exhausted” Paul first spilled the news during Tuesday’s episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
“[We have] a new baby boy,” he exclaimed. “His name is Rydin, and I love him.”
The actor also revealed that “Breaking Bad” co-star Bryan Cranston was the tot’s godfather, telling Fallon, “He’s very excited, very honored, I love the man to death. It was a no-brainer.”
Paul shared that he and Parsekian’s first child, 4-year-old daughter Story Annabelle, is already developing a special bond with her baby bro.
“She’s madly in love with him [Rydin], can’t squeeze him enough,” he said
Paul and Parsekian, who tied the knot in May 2013, announced the happy news that they were expecting again via social media in December 2021.
Paul previously opened up about wanting to have more kids in an interview with Haute Living in 2020.
“Fatherhood has definitely changed me,” he admitted. “Having a child is the closest thing to magic that anyone can have. I see why people rush home to be there when they get home from school. You don’t want to miss any of it.”
Paul added, “It’s easily the best chapter of my life. … I feel I’m in a good place. I can’t wait to have another baby, and I’m so excited to see what 40 has to offer. I’m just excited to be around, to be alive. I’m just happy to be here. Life is good.”
