Watch: GMA's Ginger Zee tours Chattanooga's Volkswagen Plant as part of E.V. tour

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Good Morning America Meteorologist Ginger Zee is on a road trip this week, and one of her stops was the Scenic City, on Wednesday.

Zee is reporting on the impact of electric vehicles (EVs) in the U.S.

She has been driving across the country in one.

And Wednesday morning, she was the first to drive Volkswagen's first American made ID4.

It's an EV that has a 280 mile range, and give you three years of unlimited charging on Electrify America ‘s network. The battery in the vehicle is guaranteed for 8 years or 100,000 miles.
