Lil' Kim, Kim Petras, Shenseea & more playing Pride Island on Governors Island

NYC Pride’s annual concert series, Pride Island, is returning for 2022 after three years of not being held because of Covid. They’ve announced this year’s lineup, happening in a new location, Play Lawn on Governors Island on June 24, 25, and 26. Things kick off on Friday (6/24) with “Drag Island,” featuring Mo Heart and Kylie Sonique Love, both of whom were contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars.

On Saturday (6/25), Lil’ Kim headlines, and the lineup also features Jamaican dancehall great Shenseea, Netta, Raye, and Papi Juice.

Things wrap up on Sunday (6/26) with a headlining set from Kim Petras, plus DJ Eddie Martinez, DJ Dani Tori, and DJ Alex Chapman.

Additional artists are still to be announced, and tickets are on sale now.

Lil’ Kim is also playing LL Cool J’s Rock the Bells Festival in Queens in August.
