Kid Cudi and Kanye West are unlikely to become great buddies in the near future. Kid Cudi said so as much - not friends, not collaborators, not anything.

Cudi acknowledged a duet with West on Pusha T's new album, "It's Almost Dry," but clarified that they have not reconciled.

"Hey! So I know some of you heard about the song I got w Pusha. I did this song a year ago when I was still cool w Kanye," Cudi clarified on Twitter Tuesday. "I am not cool w that man. He's not my friend and I only cleared the song for Pusha cuz thats my guy. This is the last song u will hear me on w Kanye."

Although the complete tracklist for "It's Almost Dry" has not been revealed, Rolling Stone reports that it will have performances from Jay-Z, Lil Uzi Vert, and Don Toliver. The album, which will be released on Friday, was co-produced by West and Pharrell Williams.

West, 44, and Cudi, 38, have collaborated on numerous tracks over the years and even issued a joint album, "Kids See Ghosts," in 2018, but they recently engaged in a public feud.

Cudi was dropped from West's "Donda 2" album due to his friendship with Pete Davidson, who is dating Ye's estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. As it is, it was Kanye West who first blew him Cudi off.

Kanye wrote back in February in call caps that Kid Cudi will not be on "Donda" because he's friends with "You Know Who." It's natural that Cudi will repay the favor by publicly saying now that he also does not want anything to do with West anymore.

It can be recalled that Cudi also did not back down in answering the accusation point black at the time.

Cudi responded to his former friend's public revelation by sharing his side of the tale. He called Kanye West a "whack" for reversing the story and posting "this lie" just to look a certain way on the Internet. He called West as "no friend."

Later on in his IG, the "Pursuit of Happiness" singer also mocked West once more by calling him a "f-kin dinosaur," and saying he's unfazed. "Too bad I don't wanna be in ur album" Kid Cudi said, followed by a laughing emoji.

He said he'll pray for Kanye instead.
