UPDATE 7:32 p.m. Tuesday: The blowing dust advisory has expired.

The National Weather Service in Hastings, Neb., has issued a blowing dust advisory in effect until 7 p.m. Tuesday for the following counties in our area.

Visibility between one quarter mile and one mile in blowing dust is expected.

Those with respiratory problems and other health related issues are encouraged to limit exposure outside until the dust has subsided. Use caution if your must travel this afternoon. Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. Remember, pull aside, stay alive.
