MORRIS COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating after a child was injured when a juvenile was participating in a social media challenge.

Just after 8p.m. Saturday, police were dispatch to an initial report of a drive-by shooting in the  area of Donnon and 11th Street in Council Grove, according to a media release.

Investigators determined that a juvenile had shot multiple Orbeez rounds at a home. One round struck a child. Orbeez guns are toys that rapidly fire gel bullets, according to the release.

Police took the boy into custody. They also asked parents to talk with their kids if they own one of these guns. The guns can cause injury if fired at unsuspecting people. "The Orbeez Challenge has been trending on social media so make your children are aware of the dangers."
