SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA) has announced that tickets will go on sale this Friday for Tony Parker's Heroes and Villains, an exhibition of the four-time NBA Spurs legend's private collection of pop culture memorabilia.
Parker has amassed a stunning collection of more than 30 larger than-life-statues of heroes and villains from various films and comic books, including Superman, Spider-Man, Thanos, Thor, Captain America, and Wonder Woman.
“We appreciate the legendary Tony Parker making his collection available to San Antonio,” stated Emily Ballew Neff, PhD, The Kelso Director of SAMA, in a news release. “This exhibition will be a blast for anyone who has wondered what it would be like to stand face to face with a superhero or supervillain.”
The exhibit will be on display Tuesday through Sunday, starting on June 10 and ending on September 4, 2022.
The event is sponsored by Thomas J. Henry and the PM Group and it is the first time his private collection will be available for public viewing.
